Kimteks, the first polyurethane system producer in Turkey, began manufacturing polyurethane systems in 1999 in Istambul. Restructured and relocated in 2008 at Kimteks Polyurethane Gebze Facilities, equipped with state-of-the-art technology in Gebze Plastics Prodicers Organized Industrial Zone, the company continues its polyurethane system production capacity of 21 000 tons of polyester polyol, 28 000 tons of isocyanate polymer and 27 000 tons of formulated polyol.

Kimteks Polyurethane Systems are essentially used in:

- Footwear industry (from low-density slipper systems to high-density shoe sole systems)

- KIMfoot Systems

- Construction Industry (panels, insulation and interior design)-KIMrigid Systems
