ОV.A. Kargin Polymer Research Institute - the leading R@D institute in Russia. It develops the processes technology of polymerization of (meth)acrylates, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, processing of poly(meth)acrylates, polyvinyl chloride, polyolefines and other polymers; it produces the compositions based on different polymers. The pilot production plant of the institute produces over 1500 grades of low-tonnage chemical products: organic synthesis products, polymer adhesives, sealants of grades "Anatherm"®, "Unigerm"®, PVC-materials and others. V.A.Kargin Polymer Research Institute is the sole developer in Russia of organic glass technology production used in aircraft industry, and it has recently been a leader in the manufacture of aircraft glass.

The technology of production of foamed polyimide material grade "Acrymide"® has been developed at the Institute.
